I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but if I have a weekly discount set up, but I don't want it to apply to specific weeks of the year (like New Years), is there a way to do this? In previous versions, you could actually select weeks and apply discounts accordingly (or not).
A quick way would be to just increase your price for those nights that you don't want to sell at a discount (so the weekly discount will still apply, but you increase the price accordingly). The problem with this is that if you are using smart pricing, the moment you enter another price you override the smart pricing (so if your area starts getting lots of bookings for New Year's and smart pricing would have pushed your price up, it won't do so due to the override). The longer and trickier solution would be to use the "professional tools" function to set specific rules. Hope it helps.
Thank you. I have been playing around with the professional tools and it has made it worse, unfortunately. I am going to go with the increasing of the price for those weeks instead.
