Duplicate bookings

Good afternoon,

 I been running into this issue for about a week now. It’s starting to be an annoyance that is affecting my business. I have all my calendars synced but I still am running into a issue where I have to break the bad news to clients. Even the tug of war to express all the  my Is and cross Ts with airbnb support. Any suggestions to help me better airbnb host? I would love to connect with anyone for any mentorship tips. Thank you. 😁

Totally get how stressful that can be — calendar sync glitches can really mess things up with guests.
I had something similar a while back; what helped me was:

- Checking that each platform’s export/import link was refreshed (sometimes old URLs stop syncing properly).
- Manually syncing the calendars once a day until everything stabilizes.
- If you manage multiple listings, using a channel manager like Beds24 can help automate that — it updates almost instantly when a new booking comes in.

If your are manually syncing, then I usually suggest you don't use Instant Book. Most Hosts don't know the manual sync is NOT instantaneous and can even be delayed by 3 hours according to Airbnb. Most Hosts manually refresh the calendars after receiving a booking to force the sync. We had the sync fail several times between Vrbo and Airbnb and stopped using Instant Book because of that to prevent double bookings.
