Fresh Photos for my Listing

Hello fellow hosts, wondering what you do when you want to update your photo portfolio online? I have great professional photos of my listing but quite a few upgrades have been made on the property and inside the unit since they were taken and uploaded by an Airbnb photographer. Any suggestions on what route I should go?

Hi @Beverley133

Thank you for leaving this comment in the community!

If this is ok with everyone, I'm going to tag some hosts to see if they can give you any suggestions for this situation: @Rose422@Jane4673@Ivan2229 and @Jonathan2725

Thanks everyone in advance. 🤗

Hi Beverley,

My suggestion would be to only use up to date pictures and remove the old ones. I also have a bunch of great pictures that the photographer took and that was close to the hurricane season. A couple of months later I had to replace the entire exterior decor and had to take brand new pictures to replace the old ones.

Good luck!

That's a really nice idea and piece of advice you are giving to Beverley@Rose422Out of curiosity, did these pictures from the new decoration give you more bookings? 📸

Hi Alex,

Hard to recall, I don't quite remember if that affected my booking rate. I think what affects the booking rate is constant never-ending improvements in all areas of the listing and continuous promotion of the listing.

You are so right, @Rose422As I always say, all efforts pay off! Which parts of the listings do you focus on the most in terms of improvement? 🙂

Hi @Alex

I would say guest experience itself. I feel like I have an obsession with that. A couple of days ago I stayed up a few hours to make this sign, because I thought it would amplify the guest experience and draw them closer to nature as my unique listing is docked under a tree. I should probably post this online. I noticed the current guests paid attention to the outside broken clock on their way out that says "Whatever, we are at the beach" and laughed 🙂

Hi. I have to echo what Rose422 mentioned in her earlier post. I update my photos almost on a monthly basis. Adding new ones with new amenities/ features and/or just new points of view or changes in landscape in an effort to keep everything fresh. I also enjoy taking photographs.
