Hi @Michael8804 😊

Welcome to the Community Center, and thank you for asking this question here!

How is the situation now? Did you receive any bookings, or none at all?

I’m sharing with you some articles from our Resource Center about 👉 how to get more bookings.

I’m also mentioning some hosts who probably know how to advise you better on this topic: @Elena4354@Debra300@Oksana127 and @Frances3408.

Thank you in advance everyone!

Warm regards 🌻,

@Michael8804. Hi Michael, your place is drop dead gorgeous and your reviews great. How are your local competitors doing and the market in general? Who is getting booked more than you, for how long and do you know why? For example is the 4 night minimum an issue? Do you use Insights and track views, hits to bookings etc? How are you ranking in SEO- page 1 or further back?

Travel is a discretionary expense so when times are tough, people will cut back here first. Your prices seem very reasonable for a large group but I havent done a deep dive and dont know your market.

Hope this helps. 🙂

I agree with everything that @Frances3408 has said.  Many locations are becoming over-saturated with short-term rentals, which will impact the potential earnings of all hosts.  During the low season, sometimes I run a FB Marketplace ad to attract local area guests.

Your place in Quindio is absolutely stunning! I can see why you're passionate about it—it’s so inviting and beautifully designed. I’d love to offer some tips that could help you attract even more bookings. Let’s dive in!

 Highlight the Unique Features

Your home has so much personality! Play up the special touches that make it stand out. Whether it's the lush greenery, the cozy textures, or the overall ambiance, emphasize these in your listing description and photos. Make potential guests feel like your place is a sanctuary where they can relax, reconnect with nature, and unwind.

 Optimize the Lighting

The natural light in your home is gorgeous, but for those twilight or evening shots, I recommend adding some soft, warm lighting to create an even more welcoming vibe. String lights, floor lamps with a soft glow, or strategically placed candles can enhance the cozy factor and make your space even more attractive in photos.

 Styling for Comfort

You’ve nailed the aesthetic, but making sure the space screams "comfort" will get people excited to book. Fluffy pillows, soft blankets, and an inviting outdoor area with comfortable seating can make your guests feel like they’re stepping into luxury. Highlight the relaxation aspects, both visually and in your description.

 Local Experience in the Description

Guests want to feel like they’re getting a local experience. Emphasize what makes staying in Quindio special, whether it’s access to local hikes, cafes, or markets. Create a mini-guide with your top recommendations for food, activities, and hidden gems. Offer it as a personalized touch that only you, as a host, can provide.

 Photography is Key

The photos you’ve included are great, but it’s worth investing in a professional photographer if you haven’t already. A pro will know how to capture your space’s best angles and lighting. Make sure to include detail shots too—the fresh flowers, beautiful finishes, and little touches that make your place unique.

Create a Story with Your Listing

Your place is not just a house, it's an experience. When guests read your listing, they should already feel like they’re there. Walk them through a day in your home: waking up with coffee on the balcony, listening to birds, soaking in the beauty of the area. Paint a vivid picture that makes them want to book immediately.

 Be a Super-Friendly Host

In your communications with potential guests, be warm, approachable, and helpful. Respond quickly to inquiries and show your excitement for them to stay. Personal touches like leaving a handwritten welcome note or providing local treats can turn a good stay into an unforgettable one, earning you glowing reviews and repeat visitors.

By enhancing these small details, you’ll make your already gorgeous listing even more irresistible to guests! I'm confident more bookings will follow—your place is simply fabulous!
