If I require a profile picture, will guests who don't have one be able to see my listing in their search results?

@Anthony1658 yes they will and they will be able to book with you. You can then cancel if there is no proper picture but make sure you call Airbnb to do this or they may fine you.

Hi @Anthony1658 yes, they will still be able to see your listing. However, when they attempt to book your listing, they will be prompted to add a profile picture. It will still be your discretion in accepting the booking. Airbnb allows hosts to set certain preferences and requirements for guests, including the request for a profile picture. This is part of Airbnb’s efforts to provide a secure platform for both hosts and guests by encouraging transparency and trust. You can contact Airbnb about this so they can further assist. Speaking of “transparency” how come hosts cannot see guests profile pictures anymore? With the recent changes the photos now do not enlarge. The pictures are so small that it is impossible to tell what the person looks like. Sometimes I cannot even make out if it is a man or woman. Why did Airbnb do this? 

Airbnb wants hosts to post their pictures and we did all along until recently. We decided to remove our pictures because we see so few other pictures from hosts or guests. Seems like our bookings increased afterwards too but who knows if it had anything to do with pictures or not. lol! I can’t help but wonder. How do we know if maybe people avoid our listing because of our age?

Hello @Anthony1658, as our knowledgeable Hosts have mentioned, guests without profile pictures will be able to see your listing. Are you planning to make any changes to your listing setup?
