My current guest is requesting a full refund after her first night stating the neighborhood is too noisy and she is unable to sleep. My property is in the center of town and there is some activity going on at night, this however, is the first time in 3 years that I have received a complaint about noise. it has likely gone to AirBnB as I am just seeing this now and have not had a chance to respond. I did message the guest this morning asking how I might help.

Apartment was ok but there was no hot water. The AC was very noisy and much noise was coming from the street. Neighbor had dog that was barking constantly when was alone. Location is ok with restaurants and beach very close.
If I were you I would advertise the potential for some noise in your listing - That way guests can have no complaints once they get there.
