Hi is there a quick way to make the settings change for checking in and out for half terms so my property is available just for half terms? I’m in the U.K.
thanks

Hi @Kerri352
I could get this wrong 😀, so I looked up the UK-wording to check:
Half-term: a one-week school holiday that occurs roughly in the middle of each of the three main academic terms (Autumn, Spring, and Summer)
It sounds like you want to take no bookings during school terms and no bookings during longer school holidays - you only want bookings during these shorter school breaks (so 3 bookings per year), is that right?
If so, you can go to the Availability tab on your calendar and set the Availability Window to "Unavailable by default". Then look up the dates of the school holidays that you want to get booked, and manually open up only those dates.
The problem you may still have, is that you probably want one guest to book almost the whole open stretch as part of one booking? You'll have to get creative with how you set the minimum stays, or (the safer way), turn on Professional Hosting tools and restrict check-in and check-out days in the middle of the available stretch (so that guests can only check in on, say, the first or second day of the school break and only check out on the days near the end of the school break).
Keep in mind that the combination of these restrictions and the limited availability, may mean that your listing won't show up in many searches.

Yes you would have to go into your calendar and block out dates you don't want to host @Kerri352 but as you know different areas have half terms on different weeks so this could be challenging .
Hi @Kerri352 , have you managed to set up your listing for half terms based on the advice from Helen and Shelley? I'd appreciate it if you could share any updates with us.
Also if there are still any hesitations, please feel free to let us know if you are still looking for any advice!
Regards,
