Someone was attempting to book my home and it was rejected? Is there a way to override this to allow booking?

Thank you,

Dianne

It would be interesting to know what excuse the guest is being given, if you get a screen shot from the guest, there is another post from a host who's friend is trying to book and also getting rejected,

Lets hope airbnb is not recommending they stay in a hotel, That airbnb happen to own in the area

@Dianne324 They may have fallen foul of Airbnb's party squashing algorithm. There is a way around it but it is dangerous as the policy is there to prevent trouble and it could leave you exposed.

Hi @Dianne324 the rejection was likely due to Airbnb's advanced methods of detecting fraud and unwanted guests. They have algorithms that protect hosts, which determine a likelihood of a guest's malicious intent, including those who flag criminal activity, attempting to use your listing as a party venue, trafficking, etc... In any case, you probably do not want this guest to book your room and there are better prospects.
