I find it very difficult to use this site/ app. Is this common? As such I am wary of either booking accommodation or becoming a host. I find talking to customer services pointless: polite and friendly but invariably unable to help me. I use lots of apps for a variety of purposes such as banking, unities, booking travel.
I suggest that you try going to YouTubeversity to see if there are any videos to walk you through the steps. Also, read the Airbnb Help Center pages. They are usually written in pretty simple language, and cover just about every topic that a user could think of.
