If anyone has time can you please tell me if my listing is any good? It's in a sweet spot in Peru - Thanks so much!

Hello @Joanna905 👋

A huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us and thank you so much for coming to share your Shanti Eco-House with us. It looks wonderful.

I hope you don't mind, I added a photo and a link to your listing to your post. I'm hoping that with easier access, more hosts will pop by and support you with constructive and helpful feedback.

Hi Joanna,

It's great to hear that you have such pride in your home. I took a look at your listing and my first thought is that it needs some major pops of color. I am not familiar with the "normal" decor in Peru, however, when I look at your photos the space feels a bit empty. Perhaps some more decor or items from your favorite store in town, nothing too extra but some colorful pillows on the couch or a colorful throw blanket across the bed. Perhaps a local piece of artwork or map of where the property is located. Part of the joy of AirBnB is that you are renting someones home and you want it to feel slightly lived in with a homey vibe. I also enjoy when a home is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. I am not getting the cozy or well stocked vibe, however, that could very well just be a difference in location.

In your description you mention the town is lovely, and the beach is close by. I would love to see photos of the town and the beach. Generally when I go vacation places I am not at the AirBnB all that much so seeing what is nearby would be helpful, as well as more about that in the description. The photos speak for themselves, as well as your listing. I would suggest changing your description to highlight more about the area, what people typically visit for, why it's a great place for families and less about the rooms. For example, we can see in your listing information that there is a washing machine and unless you feel it is SUPER important I would leave that out of the description.

I hope this helps you out a bit. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!

Cheers,

Colleen
