Host and travel are not the same email profile
My listing is under my listing email address (host). My traveller profile used a different one.
1. From the App on my phone,
it log in with my traveler.
Switching won’t work, it brinde me to become a host, which o am.
2. How can I view the host profile on my phone and change the calendar.
From my laptop, I have acct to my host dashboard. However,, The last listing required, I.e., verify your phone number, does not go thru. When I click submit, it says that my phone is already in the system, which is correct. But that made my approval ‘incomplete’
Thanks
Chris

I don't think Airbnb allows 2 different emails on your account. In order for this to work, you'll have update the traveller side email I believe?

Hey @Chris24296 👋
I'm really sorry to hear that you can't get this sorted. I wondered if you'd reached out to Airbnb customer support and see if this is something they can do to support you?

thanks. Reading one of the hosting article, the reason to have one account (hosting & traveling) is to built trust. I will delete my traveling only one. From now on, used one account where I can switch between the two.

Joan, thank you. You are right. I am screwed.
The origin of the problem -- I realized now, is that I create a specific gmail email that corresponds to my Hosting Airbnb. The App let me do it. The process bugs at the phone number because I have only one mobile number.
I feel that one way to solve issue (which stopping me to open dates and getting reservation) is likely to delete my 'traveling' account. My travel Airbnb has all my experiences, etc.
What do you think, should I delete my travel account? Otherwise, I cannot complete the required. thanks

Yes...seems that you will have to delete the traveling account if you want to Host. Airbnb doesn't allow users to have 2 profiles.

Hi @Chris24296
It sounds like you have two separate Airbnb accounts.
Log Out and Log Into Your Host Account Manually. After logging in with your host email, the app will show your Host mode by default.
Remove the Number from the Other Account First.
You’re trying to verify your phone number on your host account, but Airbnb says it’s already in use (probably by your traveler account). You’ll need to remove the phone number from your traveler profile before verifying it on the host account:
- Log into your traveler account (on the app or laptop).
- Go to Account > Personal Info > Phone Number.
- Remove the number or change it to a different one temporarily.
- Now, log into your host account and go to Account > Personal Info > Phone Number.
- Add and verify the correct phone number.
- Once it’s verified, you can optionally add it back to your traveler account if needed.
If the verification still fails after removing the number from the other account, I recommend clearing cache in the app or uninstalling/reinstalling it or Cintact Airbnb Support.
