Host cancellation

Please give me advise on a host cancellation.

I had some days open on my calendar for a listing by mistake. Someone booked those days yesterday and I need to cancel the listing as it’s not available. 
they booked it less than 24 hours ago, and it’s 216 days before they needed it. 

looks like Air B&B is going to charge me a 10% cancellation, is there another way?

Yes, Airbnb will penalize you for the cancellation.

(Guest can usually cancel witin 24 hours having full refund, but asking the guest for this is not good practice....)

Better cancel the reservation asap, so the guest can rebook elsewhere.

As @Emiel1 says, no, there is no "get of jail card" possible as Airbnb really don't like hosts cancelling on guests I'm afraid.

I'm hoping this booking was only for a very short period as Airbnb will apply a 10%  penalty even this far out.  Read the link below if you want more info on how they calculate our penalties for cancelling:
