Hi @Peter4833, Good news, you don’t have to spend hours scrolling through hundreds of Brooklyn listings trying to track them down! Since you actually exchanged messages with this host back in October, the system has already done the hard work of saving a direct paper trail for you. Your absolute best bet is to jump straight into your Airbnb Inbox. Instead of scrolling forever, look for the filters at the top of your messages and check the 'Archived' or 'Declined' folders. Scroll back to October 2025, and you should see the old conversation right there. Even though the booking didn't go through, that chat thread never disappears. You can just click on the host's profile picture inside that message, and it will take you directly to their live listing. If your inbox feels too cluttered, try a quick shortcut through your personal email. Search your email inbox for the phrase 'Comfortable Room in Lovely Home'. Airbnb sends an automated email for every single message inquiry, and that old notification will have a direct link that says 'View Listing' or 'Reply to Host' which will take you straight to their page. Once you find them, the best part is you can just drop a friendly note right into that old message thread! You can say something like, 'Hey, we spoke last October when you had family over. Is the room open for two weeks this summer?' It’s much more personal and saves you from having to send a blind inquiry. Hope you manage to find them and have a wonderful trip to NYC this summer!
