I’m new to Airbnb

Good morning everyone, I’m Sharon and I just started Airbnb in July so I’m new to the game. I just had a bad experience ... What do you do when the guess arrives at your door with more people then she said? I tried to accommodate her and her children I didn’t know if I could just turn them away so I let them in , also can someone please tell me how to go in the computer and turn off quick check in, I would like to get an inquiry from all of my guests.

It is called "Instant Book" and explained here to turn it on/off:

Thank you I figured it out this morning.

Regarding the guests:

Your listing says 3 persons maximum and his same price for 1,2 or 3 guests (no charge for extra guests)

It is not saying that is is not suitable for children (only no baby's)

So for how many children did the guest book, and with how many did she show up ?

best regards,

Emiel

@Sharon1157  I'm sorry that happened to you.  The best way to manage your airbnb is to try to prevent things like this from happening by over communicating to your guests before they arrive.  Once they are on the doorstep, it becomes much more difficult to handle.  If I were you, I would keep a close eye on this guest, because people who show up with extra guests are going to be generally a bad guest in other ways.

Thank you for responding, this was my first bad experience.. The guess had three people. When she got to the door , like you said it was to late. This young lady had six kids and a husband. I try to accommodate her I gave her air mattress and extra sheets and blankets because I didn’t know what to do. In the future I definitely will ask more questions. Needless to say you can probably imagine what my house looks like after six children running around for two days making noise and upsetting my dog. I gave her a bad review but I didn’t go into details publicly.... I wouldn’t recommend anyone let this young lady and her family stay at their Airbnb. Her children drop so much food and crumbs on the floor I had to make the dog go out the room because she was eating everything on the floor, still what if a guess tell you one thing and show up with more people are we obligated to let them in?
