I recently listed my townhome in mid-February, and would like honest feedback as to what you will tweak.

Good Day, the translation of my Airbnb name is incorrect. When I send a link, it is Nahanni Garden instead of the correct name which is Nahanni Haven. I turned off the translation option as this was supposed to fix it but it still translated it to Nahanni Garden. Any tips of how to fix this?

Hello @Janice711 ,
It is always fascinating to hear Airbnb talk about future technologies and AI when the app cannot even handle a simple translation task.
You are lucky. Some guests have arrived at midnight instead of noon because of Airbnb’s poor translations.
The same thing happens to you. Airbnb’s translator forces Haven into another word, and its lack of understanding turns it into Garden.
There are two things to consider.
The first one, which is worth trying, is to add another word so the poor translator will not force the translation. For example: “Nahanni Haven – Northern Lights.”
Please let us know if this trick fools the translation.
The other option is to give up and change the word Haven to something else.
Here is a tip: read again what guests have written to you and find the perfect superlatives they used to describe your listing. Those words will probably capture how your future guests will describe it too.
Use this challenge as an opportunity to find a name that truly captures the character and uniqueness of your property.

Hi @Janice711 😊,
I’m sorry this happened to you.
Have you had a chance to try Guy’s suggestion?
I’m looking forward to your reply!
