Is my first listing good enough?

Hi! I'm a new host, I just published my first listing yesterday and I'm excited yet anxious about getting my very first reservation, is my listing post and listed apartment leave a good impression? Please be as critical as possible, I need it so much! Also, if there's any tip I should know as a new host it would be very much appreciated if you would share it with me 🙂 Cheers!

Hello @Athaya1

Here’s what I did when I was new to hosting.

Price competitively, especially when you’re just starting out, rate your property a lil lower than your competitors so you can easily get the bookings you need.
Write a detailed and accurate description of your listing. Highlight everything your guests need to know about your property.
Pay attention to your photos especially the cover photo it’s the primary thing guests notice in search results.
Don’t cancel reservations. Airbnb takes cancellations seriously. Learn to manage your calendar, block off dates if you can’t host.
Interaction between guests and hosts is important. Make sure you don’t miss any incoming messages. Keep the Airbnb app on your phone and be sure notifications are turned on.
Think of delightful touches that you would appreciate if you travelled. Be thoughtful and creative to make your guests happy.
Add discounts so your property gets booked faster. As
a new listing promotion, offer a 20% discount for first three (3) bookings, a

weekly discount for guests who book at least 7 nights, or monthly discount for stays of more than 28 nights.

Best is to also join yiour Local

Host Club.  They are great way to crowdsource local information and meet other hosts in your area.

Smart of you to ask; knowledge is king and learning should be a lot of fun.

My first question is on your title - 'A 7-min walk' to where? Center of town, the beach or Shangri-la? 🤔
