Legitimate Property

Legitimate Property

Hello

I recently found an amazing property for my upcoming trip to Toronto and am wondering if it is too good to be true. There are no reviews or past bookings. However it does say it is new to Airbnb. I would just like confirmation that this property is legit and registered with Airbnb.

The host name is Justin. The registration details number on his page is **

There is a cancellation policy which is good and you have the option to pay later as well as make payments through Klarna.  All of this makes it sound legitimate but want to make sure before I commit to the booking.
Thank You. Looking forward to hearing from you.

If the listing is new, then somebody must be the firsts guest.....

Only verified hosts can publish a listing on Airbnb.

I learned in Toronto every listing needs also a registration number from local governement.

That number is useally in the listings description or at the bottom in the section: " the space".

Hope this helps,

Emiel

Thanks so much for your reply @Emiel1 , it really helps. This listing does have a registration number so I guess I will be the first guest!

Hi @Anita1584

I'm glad to see Emiel's pointers put your mind at ease! I also often see hosts suggesting guest reach out if they are unsure about anything, perhaps you could message them to get more information and make your decision?

I hope you have a wonderful time in Toronto, and please let us know how it goes 🙂

Thanks,

Emilie
