List as 1 or 2 bedrooms? 1 bed or 2?

Newbie here. Our suite is 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, a study with a daybed and a bathroom.  Should I list it as 1 bedroom or 2? 1 bed or 2? Thanks for your wisdom.

@Michael6153  It sounds like the right size for a couple. Without seeing the layout or the size of the rooms, it's hard to know if it would feel cramped with 3 people.

What I see often is hosts trying to cram too many people into a space, just because they can. Or they'll put a queen size bed in a room that is too small for that, so there is no room for bedside tables, or ample moving around space.

As there are a lot of people who work online from home these days, it might be an attraction to turn that space into a home office, with a desk, a comfortable computer-type chair, a surge bar for devices, etc. The day bed would be a comfy place to sit and read through paperwork or make business calls. You could advertise it as an office/den/ sleep space for 1. That way it could still be used a second bedroom if you got a booking for 2, but they were just friends or relatives who wouldn't be sharing a bed.

Just an idea to consider. And less people are almost always easier to deal with than more.
