Listing suspended “duplicate listing”

Listing suspended “duplicate listing”

I could really use some help here.
I purchased an apartment in December with the sole intention of listing it on Airbnb. I got new professional photos taken, I added a brand new listing. I received four bookings and got good reviews for the stays.

Just a few weeks after listing Airbnb has suspended my listing and are removing it on the 14th of May as they say it is a duplicate listing.

I have contacted the previous owners to ask them to delete their listing if they haven’t already done so. To which I have been told they have done.
And I have spent countless hours on calls with customer service appealing this.
I have sent transfer documents to prove that the apartment is now in my name and that I am the owner.

And yet they still say they are standing by their decision to remove it.

I don’t understand how I can be penalised for the previous owner having not taken their listing down in time of my launching my new listing. And I don’t understand how Airbnb can delete my listing that is in good standing but is not able to use common sense to delete the previous owners listing instead. Especially after proving documents have been submitted.

Each time I call them they have said they are escalating it to a specialised team. It has been weeks already and each email I get from this specialised AI team bluntly tells me that they are standing by their decision to remove.

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this?
As it really is a disappointing flaw on Airbnbs side to allow AI to manage something that anyone with some common sense should be able to look at and see how I am a new owner and the previous owners listing should no longer affect mine.
