Listing visibility

New host here. My listing appears "Listed" and I haven't blocked any dates, but the listing isn't visible when I zoom into my section of town, and all dates are marked as unavailable (when I or others tried to book). I've seen a few past post on this issue but nothing has done the trick for me thus far... Searching for any other tips or ideas.

Your profile says "Guest" so it doesn't appear your property is listed?

Can you post the Listing URL here?

@Joan2709 -- link above. Thanks for any insights!

@Angela4467

The listing says you have been hosting since 2022?

The listing doesn't say "New" and there are no reviews. Did you unlist for a period of time and just re-listed the property? Are you sure the status shows "Listed"

Since your profile still says Guest, Airbnb does not show you as a Host and that is probably why the listing doesn't appear in guest searches. When I click your profile photo, it doesn't show you as a Host at all.

The City of Davis does seem to also have some STR regulations and requirements.

I would contact Airbnb. Are there any licensing requirements for your City you have not met? That could also be a possibility.

Hello @Angela4467

When I click on the link you've provided, I can see your listing and your calendar seems open to bookings. .  However, when I click on a date to book, I get the message saying "these dates are not available".  Very strange.

The listing is under your name and profile but it's strange that it's not appearing when we click here on your profile.  No chance that you've created two profiles on Airbnb?

I appreciate the ideas offered by everyone in this thread! As it turns out, the issue was this: I had an account created on Airbnb.org, as well as Airbnb.com. You can only host through one or the other, which I learned when I called Airbnb customer service. They were able to switch my profile over to the dot.com version, which fixed the listing visibility/calendar problem immediately.

Hi @Angela4467

Check your Booking Settings.

Go to Pricing and Availability under Calendar Settings

Availability window  ensure it’s set to “All future dates” or a wide enough range.

Check your “Advance notice[“ and “Preparation time”. If these are too restrictive (e.g., “7 days notice” or “1 day prep before/after”), it can make dates look blocked.

Minimum/maximum nights make sure these aren’t set too high.

Go to hosting tab and check “today’s” tab see if Airbnb shows any warnings like “Your calendar is hidden due to a quality issue” or verification requirements.

Best Regards
