Listings not showing up on searches

Have been a host for 15 years 5 stars 605+ reviews and interacting with customer service has been very frustrating. I even enlisted 4 friends in different geographic neighborhoods to conduct simultaneous same criteria searches and no results for the 5 of us. I even did some tests with and without filters with no results. Some Airbno reps agree that the listings are not coming up and some say that they can see them. But those who say so manage to send me a snap shot and promptly close the case. Of course when we test their search we find NO results.

And now we have to start all over again with the next rep and getting the same treatment.. snap shot and closing the case even after me preempting their move and asking them NOT to close it until I can see it.

Wondering if any other hosts are having the same issue, I found a few people on Facebook and Reddit who had the same isssue and two said that they had to had to put legal pressure

Even talked to a few hosts on Facebook and  Reddit who had the same issue and two said that they had to put legal pressure on Airbnb before they corrected the issue.

Would appreciate it to get feedback and advice about this listing issue. Wondering if you guys have been impacted the same way and I would be grateful for any insight? I would love to hire a consultant that has been an Airbno employee and who could have more insight about what's going on with the platform and how to make Airbnb correct this basic issue. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidav to vou and vour familiesl

Hi @Tania237

I've looked for your listings on the first 5 pages of Venice and Santa Monica. Your listings don't show up for me on these first pages, but I can see that the main reason has to be price.

The Venice beach listing is new (only 2 reviews), but significantly more expensive than listings on the first page.

Your fist Santa Monica listing has a 30-day minimum stay, so it's expected that it won't show in many search results. The second Santa Monica listing has a ratings issue and is still significantly more expensive than others, making it look unattractive to the Airbnb bot.

Price is a very strong factor in the algorithm - some hosts here believe that it recently may even have become more of a factor, with expensive listings getting fewer views than in the past.
