Long Term in Budapest

Dear All, 

I have a question about long term renting in Budapest. I cannot complete the registration of my apartment as I'm requested to register to the National Hungarian Tourist Office to get a registration number while it is not necessary in case of long term. Is there anyone who can spread some light on the local rules regarding long term and NTAK registration?

From what you say why would you need to register for a short term rental licence - if you want to do long term rentals @Max2581

probably I wasn't enough clear in my explanation. As a fact local law require NTAK registration for short term renting (to align to the taxation regulations) but the Airbnb process needs to be completed with a registration number even though I listed my apartment for long renting in the settings. For this reason I cannot go online with my listing.
