Hello everyone!
Recently I had a few guests staying for 3 days. When they left I checked the house if everything was ok. Everything seemed ok, until I discovered that a set of expensive knives were missing. I checked everywhere, but without luck.
Im knew to this and not sure what are the next steps! Any helpful information would help.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Lini172
I can only tell you what I would do, some hosts may feel differently.
I would never start an Aircover claim over knives. I would keep an eye out for them for quite some time - many of us in the Community Center have found items in the strangest places long after a booking.
As the next guests will need knives, I would buy a new set of good quality, but not extremely expensive. Try to find a brand that's consistent in its product lines, so that if one or two go missing, you can buy matching ones again.

Thank you for your reply!
I will take your advice and buy some less expensive knives and replace them if needed.
Thanks again 😊
@Lini172 Further to the excellent advice given by @Shelley159 I would wait until the review period is over (or the guest has reviewed) and then send a quick message to them. It needs to be non-accusatory and just asking where the knives might have been put. There is every chance, if they had small children, they may have put them on a high shelf.
