Yes...it's messed up for sure. What did Airbnb say when you contacted them? I don't work with that number of properties, but I'm sure it's causing a huge problem.
Maybe one of the moderators can forward this to the appropriate team at Airbnb. I'm seeing other threads popping up reporting the same issue. Looks like a change was made by Airbnb today regarding the sorting of listings (or lack thereof):
