Multiple Listing

Hello fellow hosts. I have a shared space/private room listing and I want to list my entire home during specific times when I will be traveling for extended periods. My first opportunity to book is Sept 1 through 20. I do not have any other future dates identified at this time.  I want to be sure my listing is visible for the open times at least a few months in advance. Does anyone have any insights/advice?

here's some comments for this scenario:

- you'll want to connect the calendars for each so that the bookings for one blocks the other

- you can set the calendar for the whole home listing to just show the availability that you want, so in this case just Sept 1-20.  And as you determine new dates you can just go in and 'open' accordingly.

- the whole home listing will have different requirements, from occupancy, parking, cleaning, supplies, minimum night stay, pricing, as well as house rules. So, if you haven't already, makes sure that the whole home listing reflects these ideas. A shared space and a whole home/not shared space are obviously different. 

- if you haven't already, check if the whole home might require a permit

We just do a whole home listing but there should be some hosts who do this idea who can hopefully weigh in.
