My Apartment listing

I own an apartment in Glendale. A fraudster rented it and immediately converted into Airbnb rental with host. The fraudster tenant is making money illegally and not even paying the rent. Does Airbinb supporet this fraud?

Airbnb cannot verify whether a host is authorized to post a listing and rent out, aside from the obligation to comply with local laws such as having a registration number, etc.

But your tennant is most likely breaching terms in the lease contract, which you can take action on.

And if not paying the rent there is even more reason to take action.

And maybe use the "report" link on the listing to let Airbnb know there is a problem with the listing.

This is a sad situation and no Airbnb doesn't do any checks  on your tenants.,

What references and checks did you do with the tenants that are doing this? 

Presumably you've served notice on your tenants as they will be breaking the terms of your lease by subletting. Evict the tenant , I'd also take them to court and claim the income they've made. See a solicitor ASAP.?
