My listing

I have one listing.  I have tried to update it with new photos and a new name and have somehow ended up with it being a new listing so it looks as though I have two.  It has also been given a discounted price by Air bnb because it is regarded as a new listing.  How do I get out of this? I cannot cancel the original listing because there are a few bookings coming up.  Do you think I can delete it when the bookings have occurred?

Hello @Karyn105 

You have two listings:

1. The Quilt listing - new
2. Grove Road

If you have duplicated by mistake the Grove Road that has great reviews, I would delete the new Quilt Listing as Airbnb will consider this as a duplicate listing and you may end up with both delisted!

To edit a listing, we just have to go into host mode, Listings and make the necessary changes - titles, photos etc.  No need to recreate another one!  

Let us know if you have any questions but act quickly as you are very likely to receive a reservation for that not new listing and then things become more complicated or contact Customer Service to explain your mistake.

Hi Joelle

Thank you for that.  I followed the directions Om Air bnb and changed the photos on my Grove Road listing and gave it a new name The Quilt House. After doing that the Quilt House appeared as a new listing when I thought I was just editing the original listing.  I want to keep The Quilt house because it contains the updated photos.  Can I get rid of Grove Road once the last booking has occurred which is August?  I have blocked the calendar for the rest of the year which I think will force people to useTheQuilt House listing

You definitely want to keep the Grove Road listing with your great score 4.85 score and 233 reviews Karyn - this is the one that people will want to book not the new listing!!  Why would you want to give up on all your hard work?

I would delist the new one now before it gets booked and just change the name of the Grove Road to The Quilt House and update the photos of this listing.  Forget about this duplicate listing as it's only going to cause confusion and potentially do a lot of harm.

@Helen3  - can I ask you what you think about the situation and give your side too please?

I am not familiar with Worthing but it looks very peaceful, what do you recommend your guests do when they visit?
