I’m a newer host and I’m really enjoying the journey so far. I’d love to learn from this amazing community and hear your thoughts on what has helped you generate more bookings—especially any strategies that worked well when you were just starting out.
Whether it’s listing tweaks, pricing tips, guest experience ideas, or anything you wish you had known earlier, I’m all ears.
Thank you for reaching out for your interest in improving your listing. I’m happy to share a few tips that can help strengthen your hosting success:
High-quality photos – Hosting is highly competitive, and quality photos make a big difference. Any technical or visual gaps can easily push your listing behind others.
Pricing strategy – Regularly compare your pricing with similar listings nearby to remain competitive while reflecting the value you offer.
Promotions and discounts – Offering special deals can help attract more guests, especially during low seasons.
Cleanliness above all – Cleanliness is the number one priority for guests and plays a major role in reviews and repeat bookings.
Clear and timely communication – Consistent, friendly communication is essential to building trust and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
Let me know if you find these tips helpful or if you’d like to discuss them further.
Beautiful villa! Wow! If I was scoping your area it fits my imaginative thinking of a villa!
I would suggest review your check in cutoff. In Hawaii like you, we dealt with a lot of Guests outside the U.S.. A quick call to a few airline companies because different time zones most of our guests arrived at the airport later in the evening.
Even though nonsmoking smoke alarms for the bedrooms are inexpensive plug in varieties and guests with children that is something they consider.
I love your ad description. Really put me in a vacation mood. lol
