Hello. I have used Airbnb many times as a guest but now i am trying to rent my house and it too confusing. I don't see my house as available when I login as a guest .What am I missing? Thank you.
Hi @Nazmie0
If you’re using the Airbnb app, tap Menu and then switch to Hosting. Once you’re in Hosting mode, you’ll be able to access your hosting dashboard, where you can manage your listings, reservations, messages, calendar, and other hosting tools. If you’re currently in Guest mode, you won’t see these hosting features until you switch over.
Hi @Nazmie0
If you mean that you can’t find your listing in the search results, I checked your calendar and noticed that all of June is blocked, while availability starts from July onwards with a minimum stay requirement of 19 nights.
Because of that, if you search for anything shorter than 19 nights, your listing will not appear in the results since it doesn’t meet your minimum stay settings. Try searching for a stay of 19 nights or longer that matches your available dates, or consider lowering your minimum night requirement if you want your listing to appear for shorter stays.
@Patricia2526 Yes . My availability should start from July. I will try to lower my minimum nights. What is the average minimum nights?
Hi @Nazmie0
For new hosts set 2 nights minimum as your baseline, helps you quickly gather reviews and booking history. Still keeps you visible in weekend and short-trip searches
and allow 1 night only for gaps or weekends (if you want to be more aggressive) but totally up to you.
But if you intentionally targeting long stays (for example, remote workers, relocations, or seasonal stays), then 19 nights can actually be a strong strategy.
