No Pet Policy vs Exception

No Pet Policy vs Exception

I have two listings with No Pet policy.  However, I gave an exception to a guest who will stay for 2 months in room#1.  He is bringing a cat and I charge him for the pet fee.  During the same time period, another guest booked and will stay in room #2 which is next to room #1.   In this case, should I notify the guest in room #2 about this cat?  If so, how do you guys handle it?  I just want to ensure that the guest in room #2 has no issue with that, but just don't want to advertise it in the listing or house rules since I do not accept pet on a regular basis.

Any advice would be great!  Thank you!

I would say you need to inform your next guest about the cat before he arrives,

Otherwise you could be opening yourself to some trouble, they might not like cats,

You end up giving out refunds and getting bad reviews,

Not only will you need to warn this guest. You will need to notify all future bookings in both rooms who booked your listing on the basis it was a pet free listing @Kiana27

People with cat allergies can become severely ill.

yoh will need to offer penalty free cancellations if they aren't able to stay due to yoyr changing the T&C  under which they booked .
