Hi everyone
This year didn't start good for me for bookings, they are extremely low and I'm not sure what is happening. I'm priced correctly, properties are beautiful and at good locations, but it's just not happening. Any ideas?
@Marina--L-A-Luxe-City-Stay0 if what you say is true then the market in your area must be saturated relative to demand. Entirely possible that the current economic situation is causing a loss of demand and that people, searching for income, are creating an excess of supply.
You have two options - Reduce your price to reflect the market reality or stop hosting.
My price are already lower than others in my area, Abd with double council tax, high rent and bills, even if i want to go lower it is not possible as i would be in loss
One thing I’d ask is when you go into your calendar and check similar listings in your area, are you pricing comparably to what’s actually getting booked right now?
Sometimes the market shifts fast and nearby hosts may be running lower rates, promos, or last-minute discounts to stay competitive. I’d also look at cancellation policy, photos, and whether your views/impressions are down from last year. Small tweaks can really help the algorithm push your listing more. Wishing you the best.
Yes, my prices are correct, even lower then my competitors.
I'm changing photos daily and prices to move algorithm, i tried everything, just not sure what is going on
