No refund given

I had scheduled a reservation, the reservation was canceled by the host several days before the reservation was to begin. No notification was ever received about the cancellation. On the day I was expecting to stay at the location I found out the reservation had been canceled. AirBnB said a refund would be administered within a couple days. Now 1 month later no refund has been given. There is not an easy way to contact anyone to request the refund.

How did you found out the reservation was cancelled ?

I assume there was a message about it.
