Not suitable for infants already selected, still get requests

So I’ve search the message boards about infants, and it said that you should indicate that it’s not suitable for infants. The Studio  really only has room for two people, it is marked as not suitable for infants, yet I still get requests.
What's the best way to fix this?
Thank you in advance for your time and effort in helping me solve this issue.

Hi @Nanet62,

My first question is why. I know way too many people who sleep with their infant. Personal choice.
if this still is a concern
-Call it out first in your Guest rules

-On your listing scroll down to ‘Thing your guest should know & toggle  No Infants.

I would think this should help.
good luck

I just politely decline and say "I'm so sorry, my place is not suitable for infants / children".

Some people say "oh why not? I can bring my own baby bed / baby plates etc".

And I explain "well, I have cleaning materials in unlocked cupboards that a baby could reach, I have no protections for children, and overall I can't conclude it is safe for a child" and they usually give up then

@Nanet62 , I also have our listing as not suitable for infants/children and yes, still get requests to bring little ones. I do have it listed on our house rules and state the reason why (waterfall feature in backyard, homeowner insurance restriction). I did have a guest inquire on bringing their child and I advised guest our listing has a maximum 2 person occupancy, is not set up for children, waterfall feature etc…. Day of check in they showed up with child in tow.  I was not happy as I had clearly stated in our listing house rules and reiterated they same in a message prior to arrival.

Luckily their stay was only for two nights. I gave an honest review of the guest (marked down for not following house rules) and blocked them from booking our listing again.

Hope the suggestions provided work for you!
