Notes feature within Calendar

Please reinstate the notes feature within the Calendar!!!

@Melinda169 thank you for bringing this up — the Notes feature was definitely useful for many hosts!

You can still use a similar feature by switching to the Professional Hosting Tools within your Airbnb account. Once enabled, the Pro Dashboard offers a more advanced Calendar view with tools like custom notes, pricing rules, and reservation management, which can help streamline your operations.

To activate it:
Go to Account Settings > Professional Hosting Tools and toggle it on. Once enabled, you’ll see the added features right in your calendar view.

Thank you for this info!  But I am using Professional Tools, and I still do not see where to add Notes.  

What am I missing?

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, switching to Professional Hosting Tools does not appear to restore the old Notes feature that many of us relied upon.

The previous Notes system was extremely useful for recording information against specific dates, such as maintenance work, provisional enquiries, blocked periods, special events and other operational details. For hosts managing multiple properties and future reservations, it was a simple but valuable planning tool. Without notes, the risk of host cancellation or double booking resulting in disappointment are much higher. 

I would strongly support Airbnb reinstating the Calendar Notes feature or providing an equivalent replacement within both the standard and professional calendars.

Ok, I thought it had been or at least is in the process. I did notice this week that I do seem to be able to put notes back in and when i look at my multi-calender, it does show that there is something there with a dot on the date. Might be rolling back out slowly.
