I hardly check the reviews page on my listing as I know for a fact they are extremely positive (I read individual ones of course). Well I was shocked to see that I only have 10 reviews displayed from 2023, the rest is from older years. Also, on top of the list are the ones who are LESS satisfied reviews, spending lots of words to describe the quality of a pillow or the turns in the street to reach the properties, whereas returning customers and super happy reviews are BURIED on 4th page. One example: I just had returning customers staying for 11 days and being super happy, but their review was written in German and so the review is displayed as number 66, after reviews from 2020. This is ridiculous! I have asked the support and this is the official reply:

"Reviews are sorted on the listing page based in the following order:

Reviews in the guest/visitor’s preferred language come first.
Reviews from the guest/visitor's country come second.
All other reviews come last.

Within each of those subgroups, reviews are sorted chronologically."

Well this criteria does not make ANY sense, as picky customers will typically be the most verbose ones! How do we petition this to change? Reviews should be displayed chronologically by default and only scrambled up with a research filter if the prospective guest decides to do so to access geographical or language criteria.

Hello @Laura4684

I totally agree it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.  I have guests who come from many different countries but the first one you see is from my only French guest from last summer.  There is a perfectly good translation option so I for one am 100% behind changing the reviews by listing them chronologically or at least having the choice as a guest to show them in that order.

A little tweak would be so useful and more logical in my mind.
