Hey everyone,

I have a booking where a girl is coming for three months to do an internship. She’s had the booking for four months and arrives in January. She just informed me that she needs to bring her cat because her cat sitter fell through. I’ve had cats before; I know they scratch, they can damage furniture, and I'm also concerned about allergies. I don’t want to lose the booking, especially since business has been a little slow at the end of the year.

I would just confirm to the guest it won't be possible as you offer a pet free listings . @Angela-Theresa0 and it would be unfair to future guests who may have allergies. 

 

She shouldn't be trying to make her problem yours .  She certainly has time to arrange an alternative pet sitter. 

if you accepted the cat you would need to inform any future bookings and give them the option to cancel penalty free. 

I would definitely meet her on check in to make sure she's not trying to sneak her pet in.
