Photo Upload in Chat on Android App

Is someone facing a similar issue since a few weeks?

I'm not able to send specific pictures to my guests.

clicking on the photo icon in the chat with the guest will open the most recent pictures on phone. there is no more functionality to open an album and choose a specific photo from the device.

i can only choose from a list of recent pictures on the device or click on camera to take a new picture or navigate back which will close the photo window.
