I want to change the winter pictures I have on listings to summer pictures.  I cannot see in the new format how to rearrange the pictures.

Hello @Jane3782

The ability to move the photos around is back on my laptop.  In @Joan2709 screen shot below, you need to click on all photos and then click on the photo you want moved and drag it to the top 5 photos.

Regarding the issue with the labels which Airbnb call rooms.  Click on Garage and delete this space as you don't seem to have a garage.  To do this, scroll down to the bottom of this page and you see Delete room or space.  The photos in this space will find themselves in the Additional photos where you can move them into the correct room or create a new one if necessary.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Jane3782

Yes that's a good idea!  To rearrange your photos:

==>Go onto Listings in host mode

==>On the Photo Tour on your right you'll see All photos - click

==>Click on manage photos and put then in the order you want

You might get a pop up asking you if you want AI to reorganise your photos - press ignore!

Hope this does the trick,

All the best
Joëlle

@Joelle43

Looks like Airbnb is trying to thwart Hosts who don't want to use the Photo Tour. I just tried arranging the photos and it won't allow it unless you agree to have the system create the photo tour. This must be recent, as I just helped a Host with their photos a few days ago and was still able to use the grid system and not the photo tour. Sigh.

Why?...why does Airbnb continue to force Hosts to use the Photo Tour? Let the Hosts decide for themselves for heavens sake!

Ok that's good to know @Joan2709 but @Jane3782 uses the Photo Tour so she should be all right changing the order of her pictures at least.

My guess is that Airbnb wants all hosts to use the same format so that guests view the same layout every time but we've seen that the Photo Tour doesn't suit all types of listings.  Sounds like they cottoned on that some hosts had found a loophole to their universal formatting  and imagine this will come as a blow to those hosts who hate the PT.

@Joelle43

The problem is even with the photo tour, you cannot choose the first 5 photos currently as we could before? Right now you can only choose "Cover".

Sure you can @Joan2709 !!  That's the only way I can include my balcony in the top 5 photos luckily since we still don't have a filter for that😫

However, have just gone to check this before posting and today I can't alter the sequence from my computer but can alter the 5 five pics by using the app on my phone!!  Managed successfully last week so something has been tweaked it would seem...  At least we have Plan B!

@Joelle43

Thanks Joelle! Good to know! Let's hope Airbnb will make the change on the desktop to at least allow the selection of the first 5 photos.

@Joan2709 I could replace one photo to put the summer photo of the house first, but could not change any other photos.  I also wanted to change the labels of the pictures and did not see how to do it.  The label on the lake says garage!  The whole photo gallery does not make sense with its mislabeling and poor arrangement.

@Jane3782

Yes.. With the photo tour you are supposed to be able to choose the first 5 photos (including the cover) but it's currently not working on the desktop. Try it on your phone.
