Hi there!

Out of curiosity I looked at my listing online and found that Airbnb has so-called discounted it so it's saying that instead of £808 for 21-26 Aug it's now available for £709.

Now I don't change my prices, it's the same all the time so where has this come from?

This is the price the guest would pay.

I looked at the listing, the price is indeed £709, but no mention of a discount.

Why should it be £808 ?

What price is shown in the listing calender for those dates ?

Is there a issue with the "host only" fee, wich is mandatory in the uk  ?

If you put in search for Berkhamsted for those dates it will show a discounted price ( and for many others) I'll see if I can upload a picture

 this is what you see when you do a search on Airbnb for properties in that area.

I see this in the search system, it is the same price (1 to 4 guests) as showed before :

Maybe people from The Netherlands are banned from discounts.....we are known being very stingy !

Worse still it says that Gonny recently lowered the price which is a blatant lie.

This wording and the strikethrough price indicates a custom promotion @Gonny1 :

It's not only for the August dates. Go to the Calendar's pricing area and look at the Discounts tab. Delete the custom promotions if you don't want them there.

Hi , thank you for your replies, I don't really understand why this "discount" was applied, it certainly wasn't me and the "discounted" price is the normal price so I don't understand what is going on here?

Did you find it under Custom Promotions @Gonny1 ? You can click each promotion (if there's more than one) and scroll to the bottom to "Remove promotion".

Hi Shelley, yes I did have a look, my only promotions are weekly and monthly discounts I don't have any other discounts.

That doesn't make any sense @Gonny1, the Custom Promotions should be lower down on that same list.

I don't envy you, but if the promotions aren't there you'll have to try to explain it to Support.

Hi Shelley, yes I can find the tab ( thank you for the advice on where to find it)  but I haven't applied any custom promotions so who has?

In the listing it doesn't look like you have a co-host.

Nobody can change anything on the listing apart from me.

And Airbnb of course...
