Hi, can Airbnb please reinstate the ability to add a note to bookings? I use this every time to know when I’ve actioned things like booked the cleaner, private bookings etc. 

 

It is an essential working feature.

You can still add a note if you go directly to the reservation and add it there. For unbooked and blocked nights, there's now no way to add a note (unless you turn on professional hosting tools, which is only available on the desktop).

We keep reporting the issue until it's fixed - I doubt the notes were intentionally removed. It's probably just something that was accidentally left out of the update.

Thanks @Shelley159 i have located the professional tools. Pretty annoying you can’t do this from the app, so it will be an enormous help when 🤞Airbnb reintroduce this feature!

Yes please re instate this feature we miss it too

Are they crazy? What was the rationale for effectively getting rid of notes?

Please add another vote for Private notes for the calendar to be re-instated, used it all the time.

I don't know. I think they did intentionally remove it. It's useless unless the note can be seen on the main calendar.

It seems that this very important function has been removed from the interface and they will not return it back!

The result of this negligence by Airbnb developers is massive overbookings, lost revenue, fines, and a ruined reputation with guests—and it is entirely the platform's fault!

Airbnb claims to care about hosts, yet they cut off a basic control tool, forcing us to switch to third-party paid software.
