Property Removal ??

Hi I am just wondering if anyone else has come across a property being removed from the incorrect reasons.  I co host a property which the owner has listed last year and then had to remove as there were major maintenance issues. Bookings were cancelled and then the works completed. They have only just relisted and opened a new Airbnb account and are now being told it is a duplicate listing does not full fill the Airbnb protocol? Help... this has have around 5 new booking of £10k and the owners are devastated.  After spending lots of money on work to get the house right.  Is there a direct UK help desk or rep please?  It just seems Airbnb are not taking any of the above into consideration and have basically said NO the house will be removed....

Yes there are many posts here on the forum concerning duplicate listings being removed.  Your particular hosts have been flagged by AI as trying to circumvent previous bad reviews by creating a new listing.  The fact that they have since addressed the issues doesn't seem to count unfortunately and it is very difficult to get re-listed.

There have been cases where a new owner has bought a place previously show cased on Airbnb with good reviews and being flagged as a duplicate but one with bad reviews ....

The advice usually given is to list on other platforms or create a direct website.  Not great I know.

What a disaster.  And yes that is exactly "circumvent " that they are saying is the issue.  There must be a way around this as they will also loose the commission. Thank you Joelle.
