Property is not getting queries

Property is not getting queries

I am a host from Aug 2025 and in the month of August I got nearly 10 enquiries but after my property was unlisted and listed again in the end of September, I have not got even one query? Is there a problem?? Kindly help me to sort this out.

Did Airbnb temporarily unlist your place because you had a 40% response rate?

if so, having a lower response will put you down Airbnb's ratings.

you mention 10 inquiries did any of them book?

@Saravanaprasad0

Happens ofgten when your learning the platform.  Your listing incorrectly says 0 bathrooms.  Move your bathdroom pictures from Bedroom Folders to Bathroom Folders then the computer counts corrfectly.

Also your indoor dining only shows 4 seats at the table.  You have enough space think of seating for 6 because I am sure it rains occasionally so outside may not work.

Also you mention your great location but very general terms.  Nothing specific.  Many Guests will not be familar with your area.  Entice us, tell us what your close  to if close to public transportation if not from your country what does that mean?    Public transportation is a strong positive.  If someone can not read the language of traffic signs, they sometimes are unncomfortable driving.  Also rental cars are an expense, they may choose not to have so location is important and ease of use.

Hello @Saravanaprasad0 , welcome to the community centre, henceforth also look into joining the host club of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. The airbnb profile page will guide your though.

I did have a detailed look into your listing page, I wish  to highlight the following,

1. Your response time is a major deterrent for guests to send in a booking request. You could keep "instant booking on" for a few lead conversion. . Keeping "instant book "ON" will have a definite advantage to pull up your listing and create visibility.

2. Your listing says "0 bathrooms" ????? Request urgent revision of your listing photograph categorisation.

3. The three bathroom pictures are identical - misleading a bit. Advise to look into it.

3. Bring more pictures of the elevation of the building.

4. Check on the nightly rates in your neighbourhood and tweak your rates accordingly, also bring in the introductory price discount that is available for new listings - again helps the algorithm boost your property.  Bring in the guests, build reviews and then your enquiries/ bookings will stabilise.

5. Be more descriptive about the unique highlights of the geography, nearby attractions, what do guests get to witness out of their balcony - a landscape garden, tea estates, monkeys play fun etc.,

6. Don't you have a kitchen? Do bring in the feature.

7. How is check in and check out facilitated? A caretaker comes in? self check in? Bring it in your description.

8. Ponder if you can bring in the "private room" concept, make new listings that can bring in smaller groups or couple stays.

9. Add amenities like room heaters, fire places etc.,

10. Remove pictures that are repeats.

You could also read through my post on Navigating Airbnb’s Dynamic Algorithm: A Dozen Tweaks to success if you have the time and interest.

Give all the suggestions (brought in by other hosts with great expertise and exposure) a serious consideration and act accordingly. Stay in there, guests will see in the value, if we bring in the essentials through our listing and hospitality.

Best Wishes. Happy hosting 😊
