Hello everyone, on April 27th I published my apartment and was on top of the map for a few days.  After that it’s not showing even though  I lowered the price. I don’t know what’s going on.

Hi @Osvaldo158 👋,

Welcome to the Airbnb community, and congrats on publishing your listing!

It’s actually quite common for new listings to appear at the top of the search results for the first few days—Airbnb gives them a temporary visibility boost. After that, your listing’s position is affected by other factors like:

Booking activity (inquiries, confirmed stays)
Response time to guest messages
Guest reviews (once you start getting them)
Photo quality and title clarity
Calendar activity (updating availability regularly)

Even if you’ve lowered your price, try these tips to improve visibility again:

Add strong keywords in your title (e.g. “Modern 2BHK | Great Location | Free Parking”)

Keep your calendar updated daily

Turn on Instant Book if possible

Respond to all messages quickly

Share your listing on social media or WhatsApp to boost visits

If you’d like, feel free to share your listing link and I’d be happy to give you some feedback!

Hello, that’s the thing. I don’t know how to share it with WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook

Can you help with that?

Hi @Osvaldo158 😊,

Great question—and yes, I’d be happy to help!

Here’s how you can share your Airbnb listing on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook:

Step 1: Copy Your Listing Link
Go to your Airbnb dashboard.

Click on "Listings" and then open your property.

On the public view of your listing, copy the URL from the address bar (it looks like: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12345678).

To Share on WhatsApp
Open WhatsApp and select a contact or group.

Paste the copied link into the message field.

Add a short message like:

“Hey! My new Airbnb listing is live—check it out and feel free to share!”

Tap send.

To Share on Facebook
Go to your Facebook feed or Page.

Click “What’s on your mind?”

Paste the Airbnb link.

Add a caption, such as:

Just listed! Check out my new Airbnb apartment in [City]. Perfect for short or long stays!

Hit Post.

To Share on Instagram (Story or Bio)
Instagram doesn’t allow clickable links in normal posts, but you can do this:

Option 1: Add to Bio

Edit your Instagram profile.

Paste the listing link in the “Website” field.

In your posts/stories, mention:

“Link in bio to book our Airbnb!”

Option 2: Share via Story (if you have a business account or 100+ followers)

Go to Create Story > add a photo.

Tap the Link icon (🔗), paste your Airbnb link.

Add a call-to-action like “Swipe up to book!”

Let me know if you’d like help creating a caption or post image too! Happy to support. 😊
