Renting out bedroom

I put in a listing both on Airbnb and Zillow. Someone booked the unit from Zillow, which did not show up on the Airbnb listing. Someone wants to rent the same room on Airbnb. I have not taken down the listing on Airbnb but offered the guest another unit on Zillow. I advertised on Zillow 1br. private to rent which entailed a credit check and all and the 2nd, guest is furious as to why she has to go thru this while the Airbnb listing does not. Help! What if I cancel her request when she applies for the one still listed on Airbnb?

If someone Inquires for a listing on Airbnb and your response was to use a different platform other than Airbnb as a Host you are violating your agreement with Airbnb.  You can offer a different listing on Airbnb to a Guest.  You will be in violation of your agreement to accurately display available dates on your calendar.  I am not sure what you agreed to with Zillow.  I think you should review contracts you have signed.

To be honest,  this just happened to me trying to book a place.  He said he had it also on Zillow and booked it out and rented it. I then contacted Airbnb and they told me he has the right to advertise where he wants. I find it incredible to swallow this. How did I know he booked  it out on another platform.  How does he allow people to .not know what they are booking,  besides he told me to go on Zillow to rent another room in the same house, and pay for a credit check.  When I said no he never answered me, and the one he said he rented out is still an open listing on Airbnb.  The suppor person from Airbnb told me the host probably forgot11111. .
