Smart pricing?

Hello, do most hosts recommend smart pricing? The suggested price from Airbnb was a little low in my opinion and I'm not sure i want to start there. I do like the idea of the auto adjustment during in demand times though.

I use smart pricing with a very high minimum @Sarah7127 

So only a handful of nights per year go above my minimum. I just use it to make sure I don't miss out on high demand.

Then I add discounts as necessary.
