Starting my first Airbnb listing

Good evening. Hopefully someone can help, I am new to Airbnb and just set up our first listing.

when we search for the area, our listing doesn’t show up, even though it says we are active on our user portal.

So guests do not see our house unless we share the link with them.

also, I was wondering if there is a way to advertise on Airbnb ? TIA
