Super Host resigning

Super Host resigning

our Host is not wanting to Host our property anymore. Do we completely loose our listing and reviews and future bookings?

I am the co-host but ad I understand you loose your whole profile once she goes off as main Host, which would mean we loose everything photos, bookings, reviews?

Please can someone help me

Thanks

Hi @Tanya937

Listing owners keep all reviews tied to their account, not just to a specific listing. So even if they deactivate or remove a listing, those reviews don’t disappear they remain part of the host’s profile history on Airbnb.

In other words, reviews follow the host, not the property. This helps maintain transparency and trust across the platform, especially if a host decides to relist the same space later or create a new listing.

@Patricia2526 So if she removes our listing it would mean I need to start a new listing on my own as the main host, basically a new listing starting from scratch

@Patricia2526 To clarify she would still be hosting other properties just not ours. But we also have another booking in December so not quite sure what to do about this

Hello @Tanya937, I wanted to let you know that I've added a tag with Patricia's name to your comment. To tag someone, tap "@" and select the host's username from the dropdown menu. This way, they will receive a notification.

Hi @Tanya937

Ah yes, once you’re removed as a co-host, you automatically lose access to everything tied to that listing, including past and upcoming bookings, guest messages, and earnings data. That’s just how the system is structured, control stays with the primary listing owner.

If the property is actually yours, it’s much safer to create and manage the listing under your own account. That way, you retain full ownership, control over pricing, calendar, reviews, and guest communication. You can still assign someone to help manage day-to-day operations, but they should be added as a co-host under your listing and not the other way around.

@Tanya937   You are the owner and co-host.  She is the Host. She has decided that she will no longer manage your property.

1.  She will disable your listing, disconnecting your co-host status.

2.  She will delete the listing from her profile.

3.  Tax and Payment (banking) information will be disconnected and deleted.

4.  The listing is gone -- all pictures, text descriptions, booking history, future bookings, etc.

5.  Reviews will no longer be associated with your property.

6.  Future bookings will be cancelled and penalties may apply.

If she is professional, she may help you build your listing under your own profile as the Host.  You will be starting over.

NOTE FOR OTHER OWNERS:  If you are a property owner and want to list your property on AirBnB, YOU should be the HOST and any management company, professional realtor, helpful individual or family member should be the CO-HOST.
