I just lost my Superhost criteria because I only had 9 stays in 2025 instead of the minimum 10. This is because in Westminster London I am limited to 90 days a year on Airbnb. I fulfilled those 90 days but over 9 stays of 10 days instead of 10 stays of 9 days! Surely this criteria should be changed.
Hi @Helen278 👋
I'm sorry to read that you lost your Superhost status. Have you shared your feedback with Airbnb? I've passed it on from my side too. Hopefully, you'll meet the criteria in the next batch of stays.
You can't ask for a criteria to be changed because it doesn't work for the bookings you've taken I'm afraid . I wouldn't worry about it in any case . Airbnb have even removed the ability for guests to search for super hosts and replaced it with 'guest favourites' @Helen278
Hello @Helen278
I have fallen fowl of the SH for over 4 years Helen and just like you, have always fallen short by 1 stay or length of stay by a couple of days. I've made SH this year finally but Like @Helen3 points out, choosing a listing with the SH filter is no longer a thing with Airbnb and they favour the "Guest Favourite" badge more! No length of stays and just some great recent reviews will get you this new Top Dog status😉
But yes, it's much tougher for hosts who have these long minimum stays of 30 days to keep SH status compared to a host who has a one night minimum stay as they will meet the SH minimum stay in a flash. More and more countries/towns are implementing these high minimums so maybe Airbnb will have to rethink the way they calculate SH status. 🤞
