Yes I have. My boiler broke down in the main house and I had to move into the annex for 10 days. I discovered the bathroom did not have anywhere for guests to put their 'stuff' . Just a shelf which was fine for 2 nights but not for a week or longer so I put in a small floor standing unit with a cupboard and drawers, so that guests could put their wash bags and make up things away.
In the kitchen although I thought I had equipped it well, it did not have any weigh scales, rolling pin or blender which were things I reached out for when cooking. A cooling jacket for a wine bottle and also a stopper in case the bottle stretched over a few nights. Things I took for granted in my own kitchen.
I subsequently have had reviews which state 'best equipped kitchen we've experienced when staying away'.
I also installed a small cordless vacuum cleaner.
So I guess the test is, if you stayed in your own listing for a week doing everyday things, would it have everything you need?
