Things to improve

Hi guys, 

I have just started listing my property this week and had quite a few bookings and requests. But it seems to have platoed now. I’ve experimented with the hero image and the one I currently have is to be different from others to see if that boosts views. 

Any suggestions for improvements?

Thanks for your message! I'm happy to say that the listing is perfect and ready to go live — the descriptions are spot on.

Just a couple of small suggestions:

• In the living room section, it mentions a sofa that transforms into a "second bed." It would be more accurate to call it a "sofa ****** bed."

• There are a few amenities like towels and a hair dryer that are available but not visible in the photos. If possible, adding pictures showing these would help set the right expectations.

• Also, the second photo in your gallery feels more inviting and relevant to a guest’s comfort. You might consider setting it as the cover photo instead of the exterior building image, as guests tend to engage more with photos that reflect their actual stay experience.

Great job on the description. 

Looks good,   I would suggest some plants and art work on the walls to warm it up a bit.  I also see you don't have AC or TV.  Is no AC common?  If that is the case I would highlight no AC in your description.  Also no TV.  This would not bother me a bit as I don't watch TV but I think most do watch it. 😁

Thank you for your question @Rebecca . I have made some adjustments like adding artwork and correcting some items naming. I also optimise my listing daily, experimenting available features, things are gradually improving:)

Hi @Wolf450 I'm a new AirBnB host myself - just completed my tenth booking! It's been quite steady for me so far with the bookings. Your apartment looks lovely, definitely the kind of place I'd like to stay in!

Things that have impressed my guests the most include leaving a few treats for them - some local cheese, bread, fruit etc. I have a few more personal touches dotted around, like some books I got from second hand shops. I think pictures in the bedroom would be nice, too. If you provide towels maybe show these nicely folded on the bed or in the bathroom. And maybe mention some local cafes or shops nearby? Let us know how you get on!
